Logical - Physical Address
Logical Address is virtual address as it does not exist physically while Physical Address identifies a physical location of required data in a memory. -
MMU: Memory Management Unit
MMU determining whether the data needs to be retrieved from RAM or ROM storage. -
Static - Dynamic Linking
In terms of both physical memory and disk-space usage, static linking much more efficient to load the system libraries into memory only once. Dynamic linking allows this single loading to happen. -
Contiguous - Noncontiguous Memory Allocation
Contiguous is slower to proceed than Noncontiguous bun easier for OS to handle. -
